"Φορητοί υπολογιστές
Από τότε που οι επιστήμονες δημιούργησαν τον προσωπικό υπολογιστή ξεκίνησαν να προσπαθούν να τον κάνουν όσο πιο μικρό και φορητό γίνεται για να μπορούμε να τον παίρνουμε παντού. Όσο πάει γίνονται πιο μικροί αλλά και πιο δυνατοί, σε σημείο που αρκετά άτομα αγοράζουν φορητό είτε σαν συμπλήρωμα για τον υπολογιστή στο σπίτι ή ακόμη και για να αντικαταστήσουν τον υπολογιστή γραφείου που έχουν με ένα φορητό. Ο πρώτος φορητός (ο ΙΒΜ 5100) κατασκευάστηκε από την IBM το 1975, σήμερα όμως υπάρχουν πολλές εταιρείες που βγάζουν φορητούς όπως την Lenovo, Acer, MSI, Asus, Fujitsu που βγάζουν μοντέλα σε διάφορα μεγέθη και με διάφορες δυνατότητες."

Ever since scientists created the personal computer, they have been dreaming of making them as small and as portable as possible so people can take them anywhere they need. Laptops are here to stay now, with more and more people buying laptops for their computing needs, even if they leave their systems at home. They can be fast enough with big screens to be used as a desktop replacement, or they can be small and light enough to be able to take them anywhere without worrying about their weight or space. The first commercially available portable computer was IBM's IBM 5100 released in 1975. Today there are laptops from not only IBM, but also HP, Lenovo, Acer, MSI, Asus, Fujitsu, all make portable computers in various sizes and specifications.
