The Conceptronic POLONA02BA is a wired stereo headset with a single 3.5 mm TRRS plug and, crucially, a 3.5 mm split adapter cable in the box. That one accessory is what separates it from the otherwise identical POLONA02B: the same headset works straight into a laptop combo jack, and with the supplied splitter it also works on an older desktop with separate green and pink sockets. Conceptronic rates it at 99 dB ±3 dB over 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with the microphone at −42 dBV/Pa from 100 Hz to 16 kHz.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the version to buy when the same headset has to serve mixed hardware. On its own the 3.5 mm TRRS plug fits any laptop, tablet or phone with one combined socket; with the supplied split adapter it fits a desktop tower with two sockets. A machine with only USB-C still needs a USB-C to 3.5 mm adapter, which is not included. Conceptronic publishes no driver diameter or impedance for this model.
