Compatibility — check before buying:
The 28 cm host cable is integrated and cannot be replaced, so the hub must sit right beside the computer and a damaged cable ends its life. Host plug is USB-A; i-tec notes that USB-C, USB4 and Thunderbolt hosts need an adapter, which is not included. There are no dedicated fast-charge ports despite the older “Metal Charging HUB” name still used in some listings — charging is standard USB. No video, no Ethernet, no laptop charging.
