The Cisco Catalyst 4500 48-port 10/100/1000 E-Series line cards are designed for LAN access applications where desktop users require gigabit connection speeds. The Cisco Catalyst 4500 48-port 10/100/1000 E-Series line cards are available in two versions: one with standard PoE 802.3af, and the second one with standard PoE 802.3af and PoEP ready features such as support for up to 30 Watts per port.
