In FRITZ!Powerline 540E AVM has combined power line technology, Wireless N and two LAN ports in a single, affordably priced product. This makes Wireless N available in places that would not have wireless coverage.

Two antennas for higher throughput and greater coverage
With the 540E data are first transmitted to the outlying areas of the home by powerline, and then transferred from there over the wireless LAN 2.4 GHz to a tablet, printer, sound system, TV or network storage NAS. For this FRITZ!Powerline 540E uses powerful powerline technology with 500 Mbit/s and Wireless N with 2x2 MIMO. The two antennas provide for significantly higher throughput of up to 300 Mbit/s as well as greater coverage.

Secure upon delivery
Two LAN ports 100 Mbit/s for network devices are suitable for Internet connections with high demands on throughput while keeping an eye on economical power consumption. Both powerline and wireless transmission are individually encrypted upon delivery.
