Trust 4K Ultra High Definition Conference Camera — Iris
3840 x 2160120° wide lensFour microphones, 5 mBuilt-in speaker
This is Trust’s Iris conference camera: a 60 cm bar carrying a 4K sensor behind a 120 degree lens, four noise-cancelling microphones in a beam-forming array reaching five metres, and a voice-optimised speaker. It tracks whoever is speaking, has manual, speaker and participant modes, comes with a remote control and a wall mount, and connects over USB-C at USB 3.2 Gen 1.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Plan the room and the socket before ordering. This is a 60 cm wide, 2.2 kg bar, not a monitor-top camera, and it requires mains power — a 12 V 2 A adapter with EU and UK plugs is in the box and USB alone will not run it. The host port Trust specifies is USB 3.0 Type-A while the supplied 3 m cable is USB-C at the camera end. Three things Trust does not give you: no physical privacy shutter (the remote’s privacy mode disables video and microphone electronically instead), no Teams or Zoom certification — only compatibility — and no published frame rate at 4K; Trust lists a 60 fps maximum but never attaches it to the 4K mode. The lens is fixed focus and the pan and tilt are electronic, not motorised. Note also that Trust has delisted this item from its live catalogue, so treat it as a late-life product.
Best For
✓ Small and medium meeting rooms up to about five metres of table
✓ Rooms that need camera, microphones and speaker from one device
✓ Setups where speaker tracking earns its keep — several people talking in turn
✓ Wall-mounted installations above or below a display
✓ Skype, Zoom, Teams, Webex and Hangouts — compatible with all of them
Key Features
Four microphones and a speaker in one bar
A beam-forming array of four noise-cancelling microphones covering 100 Hz to 10 kHz with a five-metre reach, and an integrated voice-optimised speaker, so nothing else has to sit on the table.
Speaker tracking with three modes
Manual mode for a fixed frame, Speaker mode to follow whoever is talking, and Participant mode to frame the group. The electronic pan and tilt reposition the picture without moving the bar.
120 degrees takes in the room
A 120 degree diagonal lens — 113 horizontal and 83 vertical — wide enough to cover a table rather than a desk, with 5x digital zoom for cropping back in.
Everything for the fitting, in the box
Remote control, wall mount, 3 m USB-C cable and a power adapter with EU and UK plugs. Dynamic range handling is built in for rooms where the light changes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the camera physically move when it tracks?
No. The pan and tilt are electronic — the picture is repositioned within the wide 120 degree frame. Nothing on the bar moves.
Can it run from the USB cable alone?
No. A 12 V 2 A mains adapter with EU and UK plugs is in the box and is required. The speaker and the processing need more than a USB port supplies.
Is there a lens cover?
No physical shutter. The remote has a privacy mode that switches video and microphone off electronically, which is a different thing — if your meeting room policy requires a physical cover, tell us and we will suggest a device that has one.
What size room does it suit?
The microphones are published at five metres, which is the practical limit. For a larger room, tell us the dimensions and we will look at something with a longer reach.
Singular Expert Insight
Trust does not make many devices at this level, and the Iris is a competent one: 120 degrees, four microphones with real beam-forming, a speaker, a remote and a wall mount, at a price well under the room bars from the video-conferencing brands. Two caveats belong on the table before you commit. There is no Teams or Zoom certification, which matters if your organisation specifies certified room kit, and Trust has taken the product off its live catalogue — it survives as a support and datasheet entry. If neither is a blocker, it does a lot for the money. If certification is required, the
certified room bars are the place to look instead.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You are fitting a small or medium meeting room and want camera, four microphones, a speaker and a remote in one bar at a sensible price.
Skip it if
Skip it if you need Teams or Zoom certification, a physical privacy shutter, motorised tracking, or a current catalogue product.
Also consider
A certified Microsoft Teams Rooms video bar if certification is part of the specification, or a desk conference camera if the room is really a huddle table.
