EIZOs EV2316W offers optimal image quality and not only for office applications. With 1920 x 1080 image points and LED backlight technology, it shows text and graphics in the most precise manner. Because ergonomics are very important for a comfortable job, the EV2316W is equipped to show images at their ideal brightness. AutoEcoView automatically takes care of that. EcoViewSense and EcoViewOptimizer then take care of energy consumption. These functions switch off the monitor or dim the backlights when it is suitable. Display Port, DVI-D and D-Sub connectors, as well as a USB hub with one up and two down connectors ensure a versatile connection. The EV2316W brings audio through two integrated loudspeakers or through a headphone.

  A modern LCD panel with an extremely small border allows a much slimmer housing. Power supply and connectors are neatly integrated into the housing.

  With its 1920 x 1080 resolution, a contrast ration of 1000:1 and a 250 cd/m2 brightness, you get a first class image quality with bright graphics and structures, as well as very sharp text contours. Whether you are in front of the monitor or aside, whatever kind of image you're watching, you will benefit from an equally high contrast of colors and grayscales up into the corners.
• Economic and environment friendly
  The mercury-free backlights with economic yet bright LED backlights are one of the EV2316W's assets. At typical use, it only consumes 14 Watt. Obviously, this reduces energy costs and C02 emission.
• Auto ЕcоView
  The EcoView sensor measures the light in the environment and automatically adjusts the display brightness accordingly. The image brightness is increased in a bright environment and reduced in the dark. Manual brightness control is also possible. The user can also freely select the desired image brightness. The EcoView index indicates how environmentally friendly each setting is.
• EcoView Sense
  When energy saving becomes important, then the EV2316W excels with its EcoViewSense. When the user leaves his workplace, it automatically switches off, and when he returns, it switches back on. It detects the user before he even touches keyboard or mouse. The monitor is thus always available and does not spill any unnecessary energy when the user is not present.
• EсоView Optimizer
  The EcoViewOptimizer measures and controls the white elements in the picture when steering the backlights. At darker images the light emission is reduced, and in this way the consumed energy is reduced by up to 30%. The user controlled brightness is maintained, while the EcoViewOptimizer adapts the colortone values consequently.
• Fine contrast
  This function offers various viewing modes with separate settings for brightness, color temperature and gamma. With one button you set the ideal image for office applications, Internet use and images (sRGB). The paper mode simulates a pleasant contrast and the whitepoint of printed documents. On top of that there are two user modes for personal settings.
• Digital and analog inputs
  A Display Port and a DVI-D input allow the connection of digital signals. For analog signal the EV2316W offers a DSub connector. Up to three computers can simultaneously be connected to the monitor.
