The LSI SAS 9207-8e host bus adapter provides high performance for 1U/2U mid to high-end servers that connect to large scale storage enclosures. The LSI SAS 9207-8e provides 8 lanes of 6 Gb/s SAS matched with 8 lanes of PCI Express 3.0, 8 Gb/s performance. Performance is based on the LSISAS2308 6 Gb/s SAS IO controller that highly integrates the enhancements in PCI Express and SAS technology.
