The EFB-Elektronik K5440SW.2 is a two-metre Ultra High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet, carrying up to 48 Gbit/s — the bandwidth class required for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz. It supports Dynamic HDR, Dolby Vision, eARC, HDCP 2.2, 3D and the HDMI Ethernet Channel, and it stays backwards compatible with older HDMI equipment. Triple shielding (foil, braid and pairs in metal foil), bare copper conductors and gold-plated plugs in a moulded, shielded housing are what let a passive copper cable hold that data rate cleanly. Compatibility — check before buying:
Both ends are standard full-size HDMI Type A male — not Mini HDMI (Type C) and not Micro HDMI (Type D). Understand what the cable does and does not do: it removes the bandwidth bottleneck, it does not add features. To actually get 8K 60 Hz, 4K 120 Hz, VRR or ALLM, both the source and the display must support them — a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X or an HDMI 2.1 graphics card at one end and a television or monitor with a matching HDMI 2.1 input at the other. eARC needs the TV port to be labelled eARC and the soundbar or AV receiver to support it too. The HDMI Ethernet Channel only carries network data if both connected devices implement it, which most consumer equipment does not — do not buy this expecting a network link. HDCP 2.2 is supported, which protected 4K streaming services require. Backwards compatible with earlier HDMI standards and resolutions.

The Ultra High Speed class is the current top HDMI bandwidth tier, and it is what a 4K 120 Hz console mode or an 8K panel needs to run without the link dropping or falling back to a lower refresh rate. Older High Speed and Premium High Speed cables simply do not have the headroom, which is the usual cause of a black screen or flicker when someone enables 120 Hz.
Dynamic HDR, Dolby Vision and eARC
Dynamic HDR carries scene-by-scene brightness metadata rather than one setting for a whole film, so HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content is graded correctly throughout. eARC — the enhanced Audio Return Channel — sends lossless multichannel audio such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X back from the television to a soundbar or AV receiver over the same cable.

If you are running a PS5, an Xbox Series X, or a PC with a modern graphics card into a 120 Hz 4K panel, you do, and using an older High Speed cable is the single most common reason a 120 Hz mode refuses to engage. If your setup is a 4K 60 Hz television fed by a streaming box, a Premium High Speed cable is already enough and the extra bandwidth changes nothing. Your display and source are both HDMI 2.0 or older, where a Premium High Speed cable performs identically for 4K 60 Hz; your device has a Mini or Micro HDMI port rather than full-size Type A; or the run is much longer than a few metres, where an active or optical HDMI cable is the reliable choice.
