The ASUS SDRW-08U5S-U is an ultra-slim external DVD writer that connects over USB 2.0 and burns DVDs at up to 8x, giving laptops, ultrabooks and mini PCs without a built-in drive an easy way to read and create discs. Supplied as part number 90DD0112-M29000 in a silver finish, it measures just 12.9 mm thick and draws power straight from the USB port, so there is no separate adapter to carry.
