Before you choose
- Slot. Most current motherboards only have PCIe slots; older PCI cards do not fit them. Check which free slot you have.
- Brackets. Slot brackets have no controller; they need a free USB header on the motherboard.
- Speed. For drives and cameras choose a USB 3.0 card instead.
