DDR4 memory for desktop PCs and workstations (full-size DIMM): single modules and dual or quad kits in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB capacities from Kingston, Crucial, G.Skill, Corsair, Patriot and others. DDR4 is used by Intel 6th to 14th gen (DDR4 boards) and AMD AM4 systems.
How to choose DDR4 memory
- DIMM, not SO-DIMM. Desktops use full-size DIMMs; laptops and mini PCs use shorter SO-DIMMs.
- Speed. Faster modules run at the speed your motherboard and CPU supports; mixing speeds runs all modules at the slowest.
- Dual channel. Two identical modules (a kit) are faster than one large module. Add memory in matched pairs.
- Branded systems. For Dell, HP, Lenovo and other branded PCs, system-specific memory is matched to the exact model.
