How to find the right headset part
- Match the series. Ear cushions and eartips fit a specific family (e.g. Jabra PRO 900, Evolve 65e, BIZ 2300); the model name is printed on the headset or its base.
- QD headsets. Many corded office headsets end in a Quick Disconnect (QD) plug: use a QD cord to connect to a desk phone (RJ9) or a QD-to-USB adapter for a PC.
- EHS cables. An EHS cable lets a wireless headset answer and end calls on a desk phone; it is specific to the phone brand (Cisco, Avaya, Alcatel, Unify and others).
- No EHS on the phone. A handset lifter lifts the receiver mechanically when you press the headset button.
- Shared use. In call centres replace foam and leatherette cushions regularly for hygiene.
