NVIDIA RTX professional graphics cards (formerly Quadro) for workstations: RTX PRO Blackwell series, RTX Ada Generation and compact RTX A400 and A1000 cards, certified for CAD, BIM, 3D, video post-production, simulation and AI, mostly supplied by PNY.
How to choose a workstation GPU
- Certification. Professional cards are certified and supported by CAD and engineering software vendors (Autodesk, Dassault, Siemens, Adobe and others), with stable drivers for long projects.
- Memory. More VRAM lets you work with larger models, scenes and AI workloads: 4 to 8 GB for 2D CAD, 16 to 24 GB for 3D and video, 48 to 96 GB for large AI and simulation.
- Form factor. RTX A400, A1000 and 2000 series are low-profile and fit small form factor workstations; larger cards need full-height slots and good airflow.
- Outputs. Most cards use Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort; plan adapters for HDMI monitors.
