Wacom pen tablets and pen displays for design, illustration, photo and video editing, teaching and electronic signatures: Intuos and One by Wacom pen tablets in small, medium and large sizes, Cintiq and Cintiq Pro pen displays that you draw on directly, and DTU signature displays for counters and receptions.
How to choose a graphic tablet
- Pen tablet or pen display. A pen tablet (Intuos, One by Wacom) sits next to the keyboard and you look at your monitor while drawing; it is affordable and portable. A pen display (Cintiq) lets you draw directly on the screen, which feels like paper but needs more desk space and a video connection.
- Size. Small tablets suit photo editing, teaching and laptops; medium tablets suit most design work; large tablets and 16 to 24 inch pen displays suit illustration and professional retouching.
- Connection. Check whether the model connects by USB only or also Bluetooth, and for pen displays which video input your computer needs (HDMI, DisplayPort or USB-C).
- Signature displays capture handwritten signatures into documents and forms at counters and receptions; check that your software supports the model.
