Before you buy — compatibility
This dock connects over USB-C and requires a host port with DisplayPort Alt Mode to output video — it is not a Thunderbolt-only device and works with standard USB-C DP Alt Mode laptops. Dual-monitor output uses MST; on macOS the two displays are mirrored rather than fully independent. Of the 100W USB-C PD input, up to about 85W is delivered to charge the laptop while the dock is running. A USB-C power adapter is required for pass-through charging and is not included.
