Dual HDMI 4K100W PD Pass-ThroughGigabit EthernetUSB-A + USB-C
The Targus DOCK423EU is a compact USB-C docking station that expands a single USB-C laptop connection into a dual-monitor workspace with 4K video, wired Gigabit networking, USB expansion and card readers. It drives two HDMI displays at up to 4K UHD, passes through up to 100W of USB-C Power Delivery to keep the laptop charged, and adds USB-A, USB-C, Ethernet and SD/microSD in one small unit — ideal for hot-desking, hybrid offices and universal deployments across Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and iPadOS. Identified by part number DOCK423EU (EAN 5051794035124). Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy — compatibility
This dock connects over USB-C and requires a host port with DisplayPort Alt Mode to output video — it is not a Thunderbolt-only device and works with standard USB-C DP Alt Mode laptops. Dual-monitor output uses MST; on macOS the two displays are mirrored rather than fully independent. Of the 100W USB-C PD input, up to about 85W is delivered to charge the laptop while the dock is running. A USB-C power adapter is required for pass-through charging and is not included.
Best For
✓Hot-desking and hybrid-office workstations
✓Dual-monitor productivity from one USB-C cable
✓Universal fleets across Windows, macOS & ChromeOS
✓Charging the laptop while docked (up to 85W)
✓Adding wired Gigabit Ethernet to thin laptops
✓Importing photos/footage via SD & microSD
Key Features
Dual HDMI 4K Output

100W Power Delivery Pass-Through
A single USB-C cable carries data and power — up to 100W in, delivering around 85W to charge most USB-C laptops while everything stays connected.
Wired Gigabit & USB Expansion
Built-in Gigabit Ethernet plus USB-A and USB-C ports (USB 3.2 Gen 1, 5 Gbps) connect networks, keyboards, mice and storage without dongles.
Universal Compatibility

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the DOCK423EU work with my laptop?
It works with any laptop whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, including most modern Windows, MacBook, Chromebook and iPad Pro/Air USB-C devices. A data-only USB-C port will still provide USB, Ethernet and card reader, but not video.
Can it run two 4K monitors at once?
Yes — the two HDMI 2.0 outputs drive a dual-monitor extended desktop up to 4K UHD on Windows via MST. On macOS the outputs are mirrored (identical image) rather than independent.
Will it charge my laptop while docked?
Yes. Connect a USB-C PD adapter to the dock and it passes up to around 85W through to the laptop over the same cable. The power adapter is sold separately.
Is this a Thunderbolt dock?
No — it is a USB-C DP Alt Mode dock, not Thunderbolt. That keeps it universally compatible with standard USB-C laptops, but it does not use a Thunderbolt controller or daisy-chaining.
Singular Expert Insight
The DOCK423EU is a strong universal pick when you want dual 4K HDMI plus 100W charging from a small, travel-friendly unit rather than a large desktop dock. Because it uses standard USB-C DP Alt Mode, it deploys cleanly across mixed Windows/Mac/Chrome fleets — see our full range of
docking stations for larger or Thunderbolt models. Its integrated Gigabit port also removes the need for a separate USB
network adapter. If you need fully independent dual displays on a Mac or 4K at 60Hz on both screens, step up to a DisplayLink or Thunderbolt dock.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need dual HDMI 4K, 100W PD charging, Gigabit LAN and card readers from one compact USB-C dock across Windows, Mac or Chrome.
Skip it if
Your laptop's USB-C port has no DisplayPort Alt Mode, or you need fully independent dual displays on macOS or guaranteed 4K60 on both screens.
Also consider
A DisplayLink dock for independent multi-display on macOS, or a Thunderbolt dock for higher bandwidth and daisy-chaining.
