equip 605107 Cat 6A S/FTP Outdoor Patch Cable, 0.5 m Black
Outdoor · UV resistantCat 6A · 10 GbpsPoE / PoE+0.5 m · Black
The equip 605107 is a 0.5 m black Cat 6A S/FTP outdoor patch cable with a UV- and oil-resistant LDPE jacket, made for short 10 Gigabit and PoE+ connections at outdoor switches, access points and cameras.
Part number 605107 carries 500 MHz and up to 10 Gbps over 4 × 2 AWG 27/7 stranded bare copper pairs in metal foil plus an overall braid, is splash-water protected to IEC 60811-1-3 and rated from −40 °C to +65 °C. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility Note
This is an outdoor patch cord, not a direct-burial cable: use conduit if it runs underground. The LDPE jacket is not halogen-free, so switch to an LSZH cord where the cable enters a building. equip specifies PoE and PoE+ (802.3af/at); no 802.3bt class is published. The RJ45 plugs are not sealed — use a weatherproof enclosure or IP-rated connector housing at exposed devices.

Singular Expert Insight
At 0.5 m, the equip 605107 is the jumper you need inside outdoor cabinets and at masts — between an outdoor switch, a surge protector and a camera or access point — where standard PVC or LSZH cords crack in the sun. For longer outdoor runs, the same 60510x family comes in lengths up to 40 m; indoors, a standard LSZH Cat 6A cord is the better choice. Pair it with outdoor-rated network switches.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need a short PoE+ jumper in an outdoor cabinet or at a mast, exposed to sun and weather.
Skip it if
The cable runs underground without conduit or entirely indoors.
Also consider
Longer equip 60510x outdoor cords (1 m to 40 m), or LSZH Cat 6A cords for indoor sections.
