Frequently Asked Questions

Will the 606803 work with my Gigabit switch?
Yes. Cat 6A is backwards compatible with Cat 6 and Cat 5e ports, so it runs at 1 Gbps on Gigabit gear and at 2.5/5/10 Gbps where the ports support it.
Is the 606803 suitable for PoE cameras or access points?
Yes. equip lists it for PoE and PoE+ (802.3af/at), which covers most IP cameras, VoIP phones and Wi-Fi access points.
Singular Expert Insight
A solid everyday 10 Gbps patch cord: full copper, S/FTP PiMF and LSZH at a small price. Use the colours to separate VLANs or uplinks in the rack. For crowded high-density panels, an equip Cat 6A slim cord is thinner; for Gigabit-only desks, Cat 6 is enough. More network cables.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You want an affordable 1 m Cat 6A shielded cord for 10G ports, colour-coded as purple.
Skip it if
You patch dense 48-port panels — a 3.8 mm slim Cat 6A cord manages space better.
