The StarTech.com C6PANELSTP241U is a 24-port blank keystone patch panel for 19-inch racks and cabinets: a 1U black steel frame with numbered ports and a rear cable management bar, for installers who want to choose their own RJ45 keystone jacks.
StarTech.com specifies the openings for standard RJ45 keystone jacks, shielded or unshielded, and lists shielded jacks from Cat5e up to Cat8 as suitable. The rear bar has individual U-shaped guides for each cable plus side slots for cable ties, so the weight of the cables is carried by the panel and not by the jack terminations. It also fits wall-mount enclosures with standard 19-inch rails.

What It Means in Practice
- You choose the jacks: Cat6 or Cat6A for a new office, shielded jacks for an STP installation, or a mix in one rack unit.
- The rear bar supports every cable individually, which protects the terminations when the rack is moved or the bundles are heavy.
- For a shielded channel, use shielded jacks and cable and bond the panel to the rack earth point (StarTech.com describes a grounding wire to the rack ground; it is not listed in the package contents, so plan your own if needed).
- Numbered labels on the front make it easier to match ports with wall outlets.
