Part number GS-6311-24T4X delivers full Layer 3 routing — static, RIP and OSPF — with a 128 Gbps non-blocking fabric and 1,024 IP interfaces, in a rugged, silent 1U chassis. Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a full Layer 3 switch with OSPF and RIP dynamic routing, not just VLAN routing. It has no PoE, so cameras or access points needing power require a separate PoE switch or injector. The four 10G SFP+ ports are fibre or DAC (backward compatible with 1G SFP); modules are purchased separately. The 24 access ports are Gigabit copper.
