The LANCOM SFP-LR-LC25 (article 60172) is a 25 Gigabit SFP28 transceiver for 25GBASE-LR links of up to 10 km over 9 µm single-mode fibre, designed for the SFP28 ports of LANCOM switches. It is the module for 25G uplinks between buildings or from aggregation to core where multimode distances are not enough.
LANCOM publishes a transmit power of −2 dBm typical (+3 dBm max) and a receive sensitivity of −12 dBm. As with its other long-range optics, LANCOM advises planning attenuation on short or low-loss links to protect the receiver.
Before you order: Designed for SFP28 ports on LANCOM switches only — LANCOM does not list it for its routers or Unified Firewalls. On short or low-attenuation runs, LANCOM recommends at least one 3 dB attenuator per RX and TX fibre. The far end must be a 25GBASE-LR (1310 nm) optic.

- Not listed for LANCOM routers or Unified Firewalls.
- Will not link to a 10GBASE-LR SFP+ optic running at 10G — both ends must run 25G LR.
- Not intended for very short runs without attenuation.
