PYTHON 3.5 mm Audio Extension Cable, 4-Pole TRRS Jack Male to Female, Textile Braided, Gold-Plated, 1 m, Black
PYTHON 3.5 mm 4-Pole Audio Extension — Male to Female, 1 m, Black
The PYTHON GC-M0237 is a 1 m black audio extension cable with a 4-pole (TRRS) 3.5 mm jack plug on one end and a 4-pole 3.5 mm jack socket on the other, with a textile-braided jacket, double shielding, oxygen-free copper and gold-plated contacts in full-metal housings.
Because all four poles are carried through, it extends not only stereo headphones but also headsets with an in-line microphone and smartphone-style earphones with remote buttons. Typical uses: reaching a PC’s front or rear jack from a gaming chair, extending a headset lead on a desk phone or laptop, or adding a metre to a car or home audio connection.
What's in the Box
- 1 × PYTHON 3.5 mm 4-pole audio extension cable, male to female, 1 m, black
What It Means in Practice
- A 1:1 extension: headphones, headsets and mic signals pass through unchanged — no adapter logic in the cable.
- Works with 3-pole (stereo) headphones too; the fourth contact simply stays unused.
- The textile braid resists kinking and tangling better than a plain PVC lead on a desk or in a bag.
- Double shielding helps keep hum and interference out of the microphone signal over the extra metre.
What Will Not Work
- It does not split a combined headset jack into separate headphone and microphone plugs — that needs a Y-splitter.
- It does not convert between CTIA and OMTP headset wiring; it extends whatever standard the headset uses.
- It does not fit 6.35 mm (1/4") or 2.5 mm jacks.
- It is not a USB or Bluetooth audio solution — devices without a 3.5 mm jack need a USB-C or USB adapter.
