BlueLAN R9D20A-BL, marketed through BlueOptics, is a passive twinax copper direct-attach cable with SFP+ connectors at both ends. Its 3 m, 30 AWG construction is specified for 10GBASE-CR links up to 10 Gbit/s. It is a compatible alternative to the HPE Aruba R9D20A cable reference.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Check both device models, firmware and passive-DAC support against the relevant compatibility information. A physical SFP+ slot alone does not establish support. The manufacturer limits the compatibility claim to hardware that supports the original HPE Aruba R9D20A reference; this is not an original HPE-branded cable.
