3M Bright Screen Privacy Filter BPNDE006 for Dell XPS 14 · 14.5" 16:10 · Reversible Matte/Gloss · Black

The 3M Bright Screen Privacy Filter BPNDE006 is a 14.5-inch 16:10 privacy screen for Dell XPS 14, using 3M Nanolouver technology to black out the display for anyone viewing from outside a 60° angle while passing on average 85% of the screen brightness. It is made for people who handle confidential data in open-plan offices, on trains and flights, and at client sites.

3M rates the Bright Screen line up to 25% brighter than other black privacy filters, so the screen stays readable without turning the backlight up. The filter is reversible — glossy side for clarity, matte side to cut glare and fingerprints — helps reduce blue light without distorting colours, and comes with 3M COMPLY Flip Attach so you can lift it up to share your screen and lower it again for privacy.

• 1 × 3M Bright Screen Privacy Filter BPNDE006 (14.5", 16:10)
• 3M COMPLY Flip Attach (lets you flip the filter up and down)
• 3M COMPLY adhesive strips (alternative attachment)

• People beside you see a dark screen once they are outside the 60° viewing zone; you, sitting in front, see a normal bright image.
• With 85% average light transmission you usually need little or no extra screen brightness — useful when working on battery.
• Glossy side out for the sharpest image; matte side out when windows or ceiling lights reflect on the screen.
• Flip Attach lets you show the screen to a colleague and return to privacy in a second, without peeling anything off.
• At 0.290 mm thin and touch-compatible, it can stay on a touchscreen laptop while you use touch.

• It does not hide the screen from someone directly behind you — privacy works on side angles.
• It will not fit other laptop models, even with the same screen diagonal. Dell XPS 16 needs BPNDE007; older XPS 13, 15 and 17 are not covered.
• Same diagonal but a different aspect ratio (16:9, 16:10, 3:2, 4:3) leaves gaps or overhang — both must match.
• It is a privacy and anti-glare filter, not impact protection — it will not prevent a cracked screen.
• It is not meant for external monitors; 3M makes separate monitor privacy filters.
