The 3M COMPLY Flip Attach COMPLYBZ is a replacement attachment kit for 3M laptop privacy filters on laptops with a raised bezel: hinged tabs stick to the frame around the screen, hold the filter in place and let you flip it up when you want to share what is on screen. It is for users who already own a 3M laptop filter and have lost, worn out or want a second set of tabs — for example to move the filter between two laptops.
3M describes the design as proprietary and hinged, with a flip tab so you can lift the filter without touching the screen surface and leaving fingerprints. The 3M adhesive is made to remove cleanly from the bezel when you change laptops.
Before you order: This kit contains attachment tabs only — there is no privacy filter in the box. It is the bezel-fit version for laptops whose frame sits proud of the screen; 3M makes separate COMPLY versions for full-screen (edge-to-edge) laptops and for MacBooks.

What It Means in Practice
- Stick the tabs on the bezel, hang your 3M privacy filter on them and it stays on the laptop when you close the lid or carry it.
- Lift the filter on its hinge to show the screen to a colleague, then fold it back — no need to remove it.
- Use a second kit on another laptop and move one filter between them.
- When you change laptops, the 3M adhesive peels off the frame cleanly.
What Will Not Work
- Edge-to-edge (full-screen) laptops without a raised frame — the tabs need a bezel to grip; use the COMPLY version for full-screen laptops.
- MacBooks — 3M offers a dedicated COMPLY version for MacBook.
- Monitor privacy filters — monitors use different 3M attachment systems.
- It does not provide privacy on its own — you need a 3M laptop privacy filter.
