Match the complete model suffix with the exact MS, MX, B and MB list below. Lexmark states that an optional caster base may be required when a spacer or additional trays (1–4) are used. Check the complete host configuration before ordering; a tray lock does not establish protection for printed output or network jobs.

What It Means in Practice
- For an office that alternates ordinary A4 jobs with another supported size, install the tray as directed by the host guide, load the selected media and configure the paper size/type and job source in the printer and driver as required.
- Extra input capacity reduces the need to reload during suitable workloads. It does not change the print engine speed or add an unsupported printing function.
- The 550-sheet figure is the tray nominal capacity. Different media thicknesses and the printer media rules still apply; do not assume a full 550-sheet load for every label, envelope or card stock.
- Allow space for a 421mm-wide, 510mm-deep tray and the complete host installation. The tray is 110mm high and weighs 5.9kg; retain access for opening, loading and operating the lock.
