ABUS IP Fisheye 12 MP 360° Camera, 1.29 mm Panomorph Lens, Two-Way Audio, IR 15 m, PoE, IP67/IK10, White
ABUS IP Fisheye 12 MP — One Camera, the Whole Room
The ABUS IPCS29512 is a 12 MP network fisheye camera that covers a complete room, shop floor or lobby from a single ceiling position, using a 1.29 mm panomorph lens with a 360° view (180° on a wall). It is meant for spaces where several fixed cameras would otherwise be needed and for sites that want analytics such as people counting or heat maps.
Dewarping happens inside the camera, so the recorder or app receives ready-to-view panorama or virtual PTZ views. Built-in microphone and loudspeaker give two-way audio, and the metal IP67/IK10 housing means the same model can be fitted indoors or under an outdoor canopy.
What's in the Box
- ABUS IPCS29512 12 MP fisheye camera, white metal housing for wall or ceiling mounting
- ABUS does not publish a detailed scope of delivery; a 12 V power supply is not listed as included, so plan on PoE
- microSD card and recorder are not included
What It Means in Practice
- Mount it centrally on the ceiling of the space: one camera replaces two to four fixed cameras in a typical shop or office floor.
- Choose the view mode per job: full fisheye, panorama (3072 × 2304), 4 × PTZ views or fisheye plus 3 PTZ views.
- The analytics — tripwire, intrusion, unattended baggage, object removed, heat map, people counting and queue management — are useful for retail as well as security.
- Talk-back through the built-in loudspeaker lets staff respond to someone at a counter or entrance.
What Will Not Work
- IR reach is up to 15 m, so it is not meant for large dark yards or car parks.
- H.265 is not in the published spec table; storage per camera will be higher than with an H.265 camera.
- Detail at the edge of the image is lower than a dedicated fixed camera — for face or plate identification use a fixed camera at the entry point.
- Browser access is limited to Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
- ABUS lists it as not compatible with Comfion, Secoris, Secvest and wAppLoxx systems.
