Acer Nitro ED320QU S3 — 31.5" curved WQHD gaming monitor at 180Hz
31.5" curved VA2560 × 1440180HzAMD FreeSync
The Acer Nitro ED320QU S3 (UM.JE0EE.318) is a 31.5-inch curved gaming monitor with a 2560 × 1440 VA panel, a 1500R curve and up to 180Hz refresh, for players who want a large, immersive 1440p screen without a high price.
The 32-inch-class size gives a big image at a resolution most graphics cards can drive at high frame rates, while the VA panel's 3,500:1 contrast keeps dark scenes deep. AMD FreeSync smooths out frame-rate swings, and two HDMI inputs plus DisplayPort cover a PC and a console.
Before you order: 180Hz is reached over DisplayPort; the HDMI inputs run up to 144Hz. Only an HDMI cable is supplied, so add a DisplayPort cable if you want the full 180Hz from a PC.
What's in the Box
- Acer Nitro ED320QU S3 monitor with stand
- Power cord (EU)
- HDMI cable
What It Means in Practice
- At 31.5" and 1440p, pixel density is close to a 24" Full HD screen — familiar text size with much more space.
- The 1500R curve keeps the corners of a large screen in comfortable view.
- Consoles connect over HDMI and run up to the console's own output limits.
- VESA 100 × 100 lets you mount it on an arm or wall bracket.
What Will Not Work
- Height, swivel or portrait adjustment — the stand tilts only (−5° to 20°).
- 180Hz over HDMI — HDMI is limited to 144Hz.
- USB-C or USB hub connections — there are none.
- True HDR highlights — it accepts HDR10 signals but has no DisplayHDR certification and 250 cd/m² brightness.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need DisplayPort for 180Hz?
Yes. Over DisplayPort the monitor reaches 180Hz; over HDMI the maximum is 144Hz.
Is 1440p sharp enough at 31.5"?
It gives about the same pixel density as a 24" Full HD monitor, so text looks the same size with much more space around it.
Can I raise the screen?
Not with the included stand, which only tilts. Use a VESA 100 × 100 arm if you need height adjustment.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The ED320QU S3 is a value route to a big curved 1440p gaming screen; its weak point is the tilt-only stand. Pair it with one of our
monitor arms and stands to set the right height and free up desk space.
✓ Buy it if you want a large, curved 1440p gaming monitor at high refresh on a sensible budget.
✕ Skip it if you need a height-adjustable stand out of the box or USB-C connectivity.
→ Also consider a DisplayPort 1.4 cable to reach 180Hz from your PC.
