Acer Veriton X4720GT i5-14400 16GB 512GB DVD Win 11 Pro
14th-gen Acer Veriton X compact tower with i5-14400, DDR5 memory, NVMe SSD AND a built-in DVD writer — wide-display flexibility (HDMI + 2× DP + VGA), Wi-Fi 6E and Windows 11 Pro for offices that still rely on optical media.
+ DVD Writer Built-inIntel Core i5-14400 (10C/16T)16GB DDR5-4800 · 512GB NVMeHDMI + 2× DP + VGA · Wi-Fi 6E
The Acer Veriton X4720GT (DT.R1XEG.005) pairs the 14th-gen Intel Core i5-14400 (10 cores / 16 threads, up to 4.7GHz) with 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory, a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD AND a built-in DVD SuperMulti writer. Wi-Fi 6E (Intel AX211) with Bluetooth 5.3 keeps it wire-free, while the rear panel keeps HDMI, two DisplayPort outputs and a legacy VGA port — supporting modern and older monitors plus physical-media workflows in one chassis.

Singular Expert Insight
Choose the X4720GT DT.R1XEG.005 if a built-in DVD writer matters alongside a 14th-gen Windows 11 Pro business tower with DDR5, Wi-Fi 6E and wide-display flexibility (HDMI + 2× DP + VGA). If DVD is not required, the DT.R1XEG.003 is the same machine at a lower price point.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need a 14th-gen Windows 11 Pro business tower with DDR5, Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI + 2× DP + VGA AND a built-in DVD writer — well suited to offices that still rely on optical media or driver discs.
Skip it if
You don't need a DVD writer (the DT.R1XEG.003 is the same machine without optical), or you need Intel Core Ultra NPU for on-device AI, USB4/Thunderbolt or Wi-Fi 7.
Also consider
Acer Veriton X4720GT DT.R1XEG.003 (same machine, no DVD) for a lower price, or HP Pro 400 G9 SFF with DVD writer + Wolf Pro Security if HP support matters.
