The Active Key AK-C4110 (AK-C4110F-FU1-W/GE) is a compact hygiene keyboard for hospitals, clinics, laboratories and food or industrial environments: a seamless silicone key membrane seals the key field against dirt and fluids so the whole keyboard can be wipe-disinfected, and a CleanFunction switches the keys off while you clean. Keys use a scissor mechanism with about 2.5 mm travel and 60 g force, so it types like a notebook keyboard rather than a rubber mat. This part number is the wireless version in German layout and white.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Layout: German QWERTZ swaps Y and Z, puts Ü, Ö, Ä and ß on dedicated keys and moves most symbols and brackets compared with a US or UK keyboard. Choose it only if you type in German; for English use in Cyprus ask us for the US or UK version of the same model. The wireless version runs on 4 × AAA batteries and a 2.4 GHz USB receiver; keep a free USB-A port on the PC or cart. Active Key offers the same model as a standard wipe-disinfection version and as a fully sealed IP68 version for submersion and machine reprocessing under a different part number — this part number is the standard wipe-disinfection version, so do not put it in a washer-disinfector. Active Key states it is not a medical device under MDR 2017/745; it is a hygiene keyboard that meets EN 60601-1-2:2015 for use near medical equipment.
