The Good Connections 8055-F23QW is a flat RJ45 window and door feed-through: a white, flexible printed-circuit strip with an RJ45 socket at each end, made to pass a network connection through a closed window or door without drilling.
The flexible part is about 0.25 mm thick and 23 cm long (30 cm overall including the sockets), so the window or door closes over it. You lay it in the frame, plug a patch cable into each side and close the window; the two sockets can be fixed with the supplied screws or 3M adhesive strips.
Before you order: Good Connections does not publish a Cat rating, speed, shielding or PoE rating for this feed-through. It suits typical home and small-office links; for a guaranteed Gigabit, 10 Gbit/s or PoE link, ask us before ordering.

What It Means in Practice
- Bring the internet from inside to a balcony, garden office, outdoor camera or caravan without drilling through the frame.
- You need two patch cables: one inside and one outside, each plugged into the feed-through.
- Removable — ideal for rented homes.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a patch cable: both ends are sockets (female), so it cannot plug directly into a device.
- No published Cat, speed or PoE rating — do not rely on it for 10 Gbit/s or high-power PoE.
- Window and door seals that clamp very tightly on metal edges may damage the strip over time — check the frame first.
