Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard — 75% Hot-Swappable Mechanical, Dark Side of the Moon
Hot-swap linear 40 g2.4 GHz + BT 5.1 + USB-CUp to 72 h75% layout
The Alienware Pro Wireless Gaming Keyboard (PRO-KB-G-WW) is a 75% compact mechanical gaming keyboard with factory-lubricated, hot-swappable Alienware Linear switches, 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1 and a wired USB-C mode, in US English layout and the Dark Side of the Moon finish. Dell rates it at up to 72 hours over 2.4 GHz with RGB at 50%, or up to 798 hours on 2.4 GHz and 1800 hours on Bluetooth with lighting off. Double-shot PBT keycaps, per-key AlienFX RGB, five onboard profiles and a detachable 2 m USB-A to USB-C paracord cable with a dongle extender complete the package.
Compatibility — check before buying:
A 75% layout means no numeric keypad and a compressed navigation cluster — the arrow keys are there, but Home/End/Page keys are reduced. The two colour versions are otherwise identical: PRO-KB-W-WW is Lunar Light (white) and PRO-KB-G-WW is Dark Side of the Moon (dark grey); check the suffix before ordering. Layout is US English. Lighting and key customisation need Alienware Command Center, which Dell lists for Windows 11; the keyboard itself works as a standard keyboard on any USB or Bluetooth host. The switches are hot-swappable, so 3-pin/5-pin MX-style switches and standard keycaps fit — Dell does not publish the polling rate, so we do not quote one.
Best For
✓ Competitive play on a small footprint with room for the mouse
✓ Players who want to try other switches later without soldering
✓ A wireless desk with wired-level battery figures when RGB is off
✓ Bluetooth pairing to a laptop for work, dongle to the PC for games
✓ Colour-matched Alienware setups — Dark Side of the Moon with the Pro mouse
✓ Typists who like a smooth, light 40 g linear press
Key Features
Hot-swappable, pre-lubricated linear switches
Alienware Linear switches actuate at 40 g and come lubricated from the factory for a smooth, quiet press. Because the sockets are hot-swappable, you can pull a switch with the included puller and drop in another MX-style switch to change the feel.
Tri-mode with a paracord cable
A 2.4 GHz dongle (with extender for line-of-sight placement), Bluetooth 5.1 and a wired USB-C mode using the detachable 2 m paracord cable, which also charges the keyboard.
Battery figures you can plan around
Dell publishes up to 72 hours over 2.4 GHz at 50% RGB, and with lighting off up to 798 hours on 2.4 GHz or 1800 hours on Bluetooth — weeks of use between charges for anyone who plays with the lights down.
PBT keycaps, per-key AlienFX and five profiles
Double-shot PBT keycaps resist shine; 16.8-million-colour per-key AlienFX lighting, full anti-ghosting, N-key rollover, a Windows-key lock and five onboard profiles are set up in Alienware Command Center.

Singular Expert Insight
Against the full-size Alienware AW920K, the Pro Wireless is the choice for players who want a compact, hot-swappable board with a much longer RGB-off battery and a lighter 40 g linear switch; the AW920K is for those who need the numpad, a volume dial and CHERRY MX Red. Both colours of the Pro are identical inside — Dark Side of the Moon here. Browse our keyboards for the full Alienware and Logitech G line-up and our wireless mice for a matching Alienware Pro mouse; tell us your setup and we will confirm the right colour and part number.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a 75% wireless board with hot-swappable 40 g linear switches, tri-mode connectivity, per-key RGB and up to 72 h (or weeks with RGB off), in US English and the Dark Side of the Moon finish.
Skip it if
You need a numeric keypad or a volume dial (see the AW920K), you need a stated polling-rate figure, or you want a tactile or clicky feel out of the box.
Also consider
Alienware Tri-Mode AW920K (AW920K-G-WW) full-size with CHERRY MX Red, or Logitech G PRO X TKL LIGHTSPEED (920-012159) for a tenkeyless tactile board.
