The Manhattan Amsterdam Anti-Theft Laptop Sling Bag (440578) is a 14-litre top-load sling backpack with a single adjustable shoulder strap and a padded sleeve for notebooks and tablets up to 13.3".
Snap hooks on the zippers lock three compartments against opportunistic theft, a hidden back pocket keeps valuables against your body, and the polyester fabric has a water-resistant coating.

What's in the Box
- 1x Manhattan Amsterdam Anti-Theft Laptop Sling Bag 13.3", black
What It Means in Practice
- Swing the bag to the front to reach your things without taking it off.
- Snap hooks on the zippers make it harder for pickpockets to open compartments in crowds.
- The hidden back pocket is the place for passport, wallet or phone.
- Organisers for business cards, pens and keys (detachable key ring) keep small items in order.
What Will Not Work
- 14" and 15.6" laptops.
- Heavy loads — a single strap is less comfortable than a two-strap backpack for long walks.
- Fully waterproof use — water-resistant coating only.
- Trolley mounting — no trolley strap is listed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The Amsterdam sling is a city bag first and a laptop bag second: ideal for a 13" ultrabook, tablet and daily essentials, with anti-theft details that make sense on crowded streets and public transport. For heavier loads or larger laptops, a two-strap backpack is more comfortable. Add a compact charger from our laptop power supplies.
✓ Buy it if you carry a 13.3" laptop or tablet in the city and want quick front access with anti-theft zippers.
✕ Skip it if you carry a 14" or larger laptop or heavy daily loads.
→ Also consider Targus Cypress EcoSmart Security Backpack 15.6" (TBB58802GL) for a larger anti-theft backpack.
