The APC AP8706S-WWX591 is a kit of six 1.8 m NetShelter power cords with a locking IEC C13 connector and an IEC C14 plug, in blue, for connecting servers, switches and storage to rack PDUs or UPS outlets.
Coloured cords make dual-corded installations easier to manage: using one colour per power feed (for example blue for feed B) shows at a glance which supply each power supply is on. The C13 end locks into APC AP8000-series rack PDUs to prevent accidental disconnection, and works as a standard cord on any other C14 outlet or C13 inlet. This is the worldwide (WW) version.
Before you order: Blue version. APC also sells the same kit in black (AP8706S-WW) and red — make sure you order the colour that matches your A/B scheme. The lock only engages on APC AP8000-series PDUs.
