Apple AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case (MKFT4ZM/A) are open-fit true wireless earbuds with the Apple H2 chip and Active Noise Cancellation, for iPhone, iPad and Mac users who want ANC without silicone ear tips.
Adaptive Audio blends noise cancellation and Transparency to your surroundings, Conversation Awareness lowers your media when you speak, and Voice Isolation keeps calls clear. This version has the Wireless Charging Case, which charges on USB-C, Qi-certified pads or an Apple Watch charger and has a built-in speaker to help find it with Find My.
Before you order: No USB-C cable or power adapter is included — use your existing USB-C cable and charger, a Qi-certified pad or an Apple Watch charger. Features such as automatic switching and Spatial Audio need an up-to-date Apple device.

What It Means in Practice
- The open-fit design means no ear tips to choose — comfortable for long wear, though passive isolation is lower than in-ear tips.
- Battery: up to 5 hours listening with ANC on a single charge and up to 22 hours with the case; 5 minutes in the case gives about 1 hour.
- With Android or Windows they work as standard Bluetooth earbuds; Apple-specific features are not available.
- Dust, sweat and water resistant for workouts and rain.
What Will Not Work
- Wireless charging via MagSafe — Apple lists Qi and Apple Watch chargers, not MagSafe.
- Charging out of the box without your own USB-C cable or charger — none are included.
- Full feature set on non-Apple devices — Adaptive Audio, automatic switching and Spatial Audio head tracking need Apple devices.
- A sealed in-ear fit — these are open-fit earbuds with no tips.
