Apple M5 · 10-Core CPU · 10-Core GPU · 16GB Unified Memory · 1TB SSD · Liquid Retina Display · Midnight
The Apple MacBook Air 13" M5 in Midnight with 1TB SSD and the full 10-core GPU delivers maximum 13-inch performance in the fanless 1.24 kg chassis. Neural Accelerators in every GPU core, Wi-Fi 7 via the Apple N1 chip, and a 2× faster SSD — in the boldest, most distinctive color in the MacBook Air lineup.
Key Features
► M5 with 10-Core GPU
The full 10-core GPU — every core with a Neural Accelerator — gives faster AI, gaming, and GPU-accelerated creative work vs the base 8-core 512GB model.
► 1TB Ultra-Fast SSD
Double the storage of the base model, with 2× faster read/write speeds — ideal for large photo/video libraries, local AI models, and multiple VM environments.
► 13.6" Liquid Retina Display
2560×1664 at 500 nits with P3 wide color and True Tone — crisp, vibrant, portable. The same display in a lighter, more compact chassis than the 15" model.
► Wi-Fi 7 + Bluetooth 6
The new Apple N1 wireless chip delivers Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 6 — faster, more reliable wireless than the M4’s Wi-Fi 6E / BT5.3.
► Fanless · Silent · 1.24 kg
No fans, no noise, no thermal throttling. The lightest full-performance Mac Apple ships — ideal for travel, meetings, and all-day mobile use.
► Up to 18 Hours Battery
Tested by Apple at 18 hours wireless web on a single charge. Fast-charge capable with a 70W+ USB-C adapter (sold separately in the EU).

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What’s the difference vs the base 13" M5 with 512GB?
This model has the 10-core GPU (vs 8-core on the base 512GB) and 1TB SSD (vs 512GB). Both share the same 10-core CPU, 16GB RAM, Wi-Fi 7, and display. The 10-core GPU adds a Neural Accelerator to each extra core, benefiting AI tasks and GPU-accelerated apps.
Q: Should I choose this over the 15" M5?
Choose this if portability is your priority — at 1.24 kg it’s 270g lighter than the 15" model. The 15" offers a larger display (15.3" vs 13.6") and 6-speaker audio vs 4-speaker. Performance and ports are identical.
Q: Can I upgrade RAM or SSD after purchase?
No. Both the 16GB unified memory and 1TB SSD are soldered and cannot be upgraded. If you anticipate needing 24GB RAM, configure at order time.
Q: What’s in the box — is a power adapter included?
In the EU and UK (including Cyprus), Apple does not include a power adapter per EU Radio Equipment Directive 2022/2380. The box contains the MacBook Air, a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable (2 m), and documentation. A power adapter must be purchased separately — Apple recommends 70W USB-C for fast-charging.
SINGULAR EXPERT INSIGHT
This is the sweet spot of the 13-inch M5 lineup — in the darkest, most distinctive finish. The 10-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and 1TB storage remove the two constraints of the base model, while Midnight’s deep anodized aluminum gives a premium, professional look that sets it apart from Silver and Starlight. Maximum 13-inch performance, maximum portability at 1.24 kg.
