Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch with M5 Pro — 18-core CPU, 20-core GPU, 48GB and 2TB
M5 Pro 18-core CPU20-core GPU48GB unified memory2TB SSD · Space Black
The Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch with M5 Pro (configure-to-order build Z1ML-US46) is a professional laptop with the higher M5 Pro chip — 18-core CPU and 20-core GPU — plus 48GB of unified memory, a 2TB SSD and the standard (glossy) 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, in Space Black with a US English keyboard. It is built for video editors, photographers, 3D artists, developers and anyone running large projects or local AI models away from the desk.
The 48GB memory upgrade doubles the standard 24GB, so large timelines, many virtual machines or big datasets stay in memory. Battery life is rated at up to 22 hours of video streaming. This unit ships without a power adapter: you charge it with your own USB-C Power Delivery charger, ideally 96W or more for fast charging.
Before you order: Power adapter NOT included. Use an existing USB-C PD charger (96W or higher for fast charging), or ask us to add an Apple 96W USB-C Power Adapter to the order. The keyboard is US English (ANSI) layout — no Greek characters printed on the keys.
What's in the Box
- 14-inch MacBook Pro (Apple M5 Pro 18-core CPU / 20-core GPU, 48GB unified memory, 2TB SSD, Space Black)
- No power adapter included — order one separately if you do not already have a 96W+ USB-C PD charger
What It Means in Practice
- The 18-core CPU (6 super cores and 12 performance cores) and 20-core GPU are the faster of the two M5 Pro chips. They make the biggest difference in sustained work: video export and colour grading, 3D rendering, large code builds and batch photo processing.
- 48GB of unified memory is shared by the CPU and GPU at 307GB/s. That leaves room for 8K or multicam timelines, several virtual machines, Docker workloads and mid-sized local AI models — work where 24GB starts to swap to disk.
- 2TB of internal SSD holds macOS, apps and active projects with space to spare. Thunderbolt 5 ports (up to 120Gb/s) connect external SSDs and RAID enclosures for archives.
- The 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display (3024 x 1964, 254 ppi) runs ProMotion up to 120Hz, with up to 1000 nits sustained and 1600 nits peak for HDR content and up to 1000 nits SDR outdoors. This is the standard glossy panel, not the nano-texture option.
- Up to three external displays at up to 6K 60Hz or 4K 144Hz each, alongside the built-in screen — over Thunderbolt and HDMI. One external display can run up to 8K 60Hz, 5K 120Hz or 4K 240Hz.
What Will Not Work
- It will not charge from the box — there is no power adapter. Low-wattage phone or tablet chargers charge very slowly and may not keep up under heavy load; use 96W or higher USB-C PD for full speed.
- Windows does not run natively — there is no Boot Camp on Apple silicon Macs. Windows on Arm runs only in virtualisation software such as Parallels Desktop, and some x86 drivers and anti-cheat games will not run.
- Memory and SSD cannot be upgraded later; external GPU (eGPU) enclosures are not supported on Apple silicon.
- The US keyboard has no Greek or € legends on the keys; Greek input works through macOS keyboard settings, but the printed layout stays US English.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which charger do I need?
Any USB-C Power Delivery charger works through the Thunderbolt ports or MagSafe 3 (with a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable). For fast charging and full speed under heavy load use 96W or higher. We can add an Apple 96W USB-C Power Adapter to the order.
48GB or 24GB — is the upgrade worth it?
For 4K/8K video, 3D, several virtual machines or local AI models, yes: these workloads fill 24GB quickly and memory cannot be added later. For photo editing, office and web work, 24GB is enough.
Can I type Greek on the US keyboard?
Yes. Add the Greek input source in macOS and switch with a shortcut. The keys show US English legends only, so touch-typing Greek is easiest if you already know the layout.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
This is a serious mobile workstation: the faster M5 Pro, 48GB of memory and 2TB of storage cover video, 3D and development work that would choke a 24GB machine. Budget for the charger it does not include, and for desk use pair it with a Thunderbolt dock from our
docking stations range so one cable carries displays, network and power. If you only need photo and office work, the 15-core / 24GB configuration costs much less.
✓ Buy it if you edit video, render 3D, build large projects or run local AI models on the move, and you already have (or will add) a 96W+ USB-C charger.
✕ Skip it if you need a Greek-printed keyboard, a charger in the box, or your work is mainly office, web and light photo editing.
→ Also consider the 15-core / 24GB M5 Pro configuration for lighter work, the 64GB build for larger AI models, or the nano-texture display option for bright offices.
