The Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID (MXCK3LB/A) is Apple’s compact wireless keyboard for Mac models with Apple silicon, with a Touch ID sensor for unlocking the Mac, signing in and paying with Apple Pay. This is the USB-C version in US English layout, without a numeric keypad, in white with a silver aluminium body. It pairs over Bluetooth, charges from the included woven USB-C to USB-C cable, and Apple quotes about a month of use per charge. In the box: the keyboard and the USB-C cable.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Touch ID works only with Mac models with Apple silicon (M1 and later) on macOS 15.1 or later. On an Intel Mac, an iPad or a Windows PC it still types over Bluetooth, but the Touch ID key does nothing. This is the US English layout: ANSI Enter key, no £ key. Apple sells UK, Greek and other layouts under different part numbers, and a version with a numeric keypad (Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad) — ask us if you need one of those. No numeric keypad on this model.
