Cat 6A Class EA Data Socket — surface mount

The DIGITUS DN-9007-S-1 is the surface-mounted version of DIGITUS’s Cat 6A Class EA data socket: two shielded RJ45 ports in a housing that sits on the wall, so no flush box is needed. It runs up to 500 MHz for 10GBase-T, carries PoE and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at), and terminates on colour-coded LSA strips for 22–26 AWG solid or stranded conductors, to EIA/TIA 568 A or B. The die-cast metal shielding encloses the connection, the ports sit at 40° and the cable enters vertically. The junction box, screws and installation instructions are in the box. In practice it is the 10G wall point for concrete or tiled walls where cutting a flush box is not an option.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The S means surface-mounted — the socket is also shielded, like the flush DN-9007-1. The cable enters vertically. Termination is on LSA strips with a punch-down (LSA) tool; the tool and the installation cable are not included. Not sure which outlet suits your wall box or cable?
