DIGITUS DN-19 TRAY-2-55 — 2U Fixed Shelf for 19" Cabinets
2U · 19"25 kg loadFront 2-point fixingGrey RAL 7035
The DIGITUS DN-19 TRAY-2-55 is a 2U fixed shelf for 19-inch network and server cabinets, rated for 25 kg and made from sturdy perforated steel in light grey RAL 7035. It gives devices that are not rack-mountable, such as routers, modems, small NAS units or desktop switches, a stable place inside the cabinet.
DIGITUS designs it to fix to the two front 19-inch profile rails only, and lists it for cabinets from 800 mm depth. The shelf is 552 mm deep and 88.5 mm high, so it takes two height units and leaves room for a device plus its cables.
Before you order: This shelf hangs from the front rails only (2-point fixing). DIGITUS lists it for cabinets with a depth of 800 mm or more. For heavier loads or shallow wall cabinets, ask us for a 4-point shelf or a shorter model.
What's in the Box
- 1x DIGITUS 2U fixed shelf, light grey RAL 7035
- Installation set: screws, cage nuts and washers
What It Means in Practice
- It turns 2U of rack space into a flat, ventilated surface for equipment that has no rack ears.
- The perforated steel lets air move through the shelf, which helps devices that sit on it stay cooler.
- Because it fixes at the front only, installation is quick: no need to adjust or reach the rear rails.
- Keep the total weight at or below 25 kg and spread it across the shelf rather than stacking at the back edge.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit cabinets shallower than 800 mm, according to DIGITUS.
- It is a fixed shelf. It does not slide out, so you cannot pull equipment forward for service.
- It is not rated above 25 kg, so it is not suitable for heavy UPS units or servers.
- It does not match black cabinets. It is light grey RAL 7035.

Frequently Asked Questions
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Front-fixed shelves are the quick answer for light equipment such as routers and modems, but the whole load hangs off the front rails, so keep it light and spread out. If you need more than 25 kg, pick a 4-point shelf from our rack accessories range.
✓ Buy it if you need a quick, 2U shelf for light devices in a grey 19-inch cabinet of at least 800 mm depth.
✕ Skip it if your cabinet is shallower than 800 mm, is black, or you need a pull-out shelf.
→ Also consider a 1U 4-point fixed shelf for heavier loads, or an extendible shelf if you need to pull equipment forward.
Not sure it fits your setup? Send us the model of your rack, switch or device and we will check compatibility before you order.
