The DIGITUS DN-19 TRAY-2-800 is a 1U extendible (pull-out) shelf for 800 mm deep 19-inch network and server cabinets, carrying up to 25 kg, for anyone who needs to reach equipment on the shelf without unplugging it.
It fixes to all four 19-inch profile rails and slides forward on a handle bar, so you can pull a desktop router, a small NAS, a modem or a keyboard towards you for service and push it back in afterwards. The perforated steel tray lets air rise through it instead of trapping heat under the device.
Before you order: this shelf is sized for 800 mm deep cabinets with front and rear 19-inch rails; the adjustable mounting brackets span 355–680 mm between rails. For 600 mm or 1000 mm cabinets, DIGITUS makes separate variants — tell us your cabinet depth and we will match the right one.

What It Means in Practice
- Four-point fixing: brackets go on both front and rear rails, so the load sits on the full rack frame rather than hanging off the front.
- Pulling the shelf out gives you access to cables and buttons on the device without taking it off the shelf.
- Only 1U high, so it costs you the minimum rack space — the device itself determines how many U above the shelf you need to keep free.
- Perforated surface allows air to pass through for devices that vent downwards.
- Light grey RAL 7035 matches the classic grey cabinets from DIGITUS and many other manufacturers.
What Will Not Work
- 2-post open frames or wall brackets without rear rails — the shelf needs four rails.
- Cabinets whose front-to-rear rail spacing is outside 355–680 mm (for example many 600 mm or 1000 mm cabinets).
- Loads above 25 kg — heavier UPS units or servers need fixed rails or a heavy-duty shelf.
- Black cabinets where the colour must match — the black variant is a different part number.
