The ASSMANN AK-300304-002-E is a USB 2.0 slot bracket that adds four USB Type-A ports to the rear of a desktop PC by connecting two internal 10-pin (2x5) USB headers on the motherboard to a PCI-slot bracket. Part number AK-300304-002-E has 0.25 m copper 28 AWG leads with double shielding and beige cables and connectors.
Compatibility note: Needs two free internal USB 2.0 headers (9/10-pin, 2x5) on the motherboard and one free rear expansion-slot opening. The ports run at USB 2.0 speed (480 Mbit/s) — they cannot be used as USB 3.0 ports.
