ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5060 OC Edition Advanced — 8 GB GDDR7, two fans, 2.5 slots
8 GB GDDR72,587 MHz OC boostSingle 8-pin, 550 W PSU228 mm long
The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5060 OC Edition Advanced is a compact, factory-overclocked RTX 5060 with 8 GB of GDDR7 on a 128-bit bus running at 28 Gbps. ASUS’s Dual cooler uses two axial fans on a 2.5-slot heatsink, and at 228 mm long with a single 8-pin power connector it is designed to go into ordinary mid-tower cases without a fight. In OC mode the card boosts to 2,587 MHz; in default mode it runs 2,550 MHz. It is the sensible 1080p and entry-1440p card in the Blackwell range, with DLSS 4 and the current NVIDIA feature set behind it.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The number to think hardest about is 8 GB of video memory. At 1080p, and at 1440p with sensible settings, it is fine; in recent titles at 1440p with high texture settings and ray tracing, 8 GB is the first thing that runs out, and no amount of core performance compensates. If you play at 1440p with everything turned up, look at a card with a larger frame buffer instead. Physically the card needs 228 mm of length and 2.5 slots, and it draws power through a single 8-pin connector with a 550 W supply recommended — so a modest existing PSU will usually do. Be careful which Dual you order: ASUS also sells a non-OC Dual RTX 5060 and a Dual RTX 5060 Ti, which is a different, faster GPU. This code is the OC Edition Advanced.
Best For
✓ 1080p gaming at high settings
✓ Entry-level 1440p with settings adjusted
✓ Compact and mid-tower builds with limited clearance
✓ Upgrades on a modest 550 W power supply
✓ Multi-monitor desktop and light creative work
✓ Systems that need four display outputs
Key Features
8 GB of GDDR7 at 28 Gbps
GDDR7 on a 128-bit bus, which is what lets a card in this class keep up at 1080p and entry 1440p. The memory speed is the modern part of the specification; the 8 GB capacity is the part to size against the games you actually play.
Factory-overclocked to 2,587 MHz
ASUS ships this card with an OC mode boost of 2,587 MHz and a default mode of 2,550 MHz, switchable in software. The gap is small, but it is the difference between this Advanced OC Edition and the plain Dual RTX 5060, which is worth knowing when you compare listings.
A cooler sized for real cases
Two axial fans on a 2.5-slot, 228 mm card. That is genuinely compact for a current-generation GPU and means it goes into mid-towers and smaller builds where 300 mm-plus cards simply do not fit. The dual-fan design also keeps it quieter than a single-fan card at the same load.
Four outputs, one 8-pin
One HDMI 2.1b and three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs drive up to four displays, and power comes from a single 8-pin connector with a 550 W supply recommended. For an upgrade into an existing machine that combination avoids replacing the power supply as well.

Singular Expert Insight
This is the card to buy for 1080p, and the card to think twice about for 1440p — and the reason is memory, not speed. Eight gigabytes is enough for the great majority of games at 1080p and for 1440p once texture settings are sensible, but it is the specification that will age first. What the Dual does very well is fit: 228 mm and 2.5 slots goes into cases that a bigger card will not, and a single 8-pin with a 550 W recommendation means most existing power supplies cope. Watch the model name when you order — there is a non-OC Dual RTX 5060 and a Dual RTX 5060 Ti, and all three read almost identically in a listing. More options are in our graphics cards section, and if your supply is marginal, power supplies is worth a look before you order.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You play at 1080p or entry 1440p, your case is not large, and you would rather not replace the power supply for the upgrade. A 550 W recommendation, a single 8-pin and a 228 mm card make this one of the easiest current-generation GPUs to drop into an existing machine.
Skip it if
You play at 1440p with maximum textures and ray tracing — 8 GB is the limit you will meet first. Skip it too if you already have a larger case and supply and can stretch to a card with more memory, where the money goes further over the card’s life.
Also consider
The ASUS Dual RTX 5060 Ti if you play at 1440p and want more headroom, or the non-OC Dual RTX 5060 if you would rather save the small premium on factory clocks.
