The ASUS Prime B650-PLUS-CSM is an ATX motherboard for AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series desktop processors on Socket AM5, designed under the ASUS Corporate Stable Model (CSM) program for long-lifecycle business and workstation deployments. It pairs a Digi+ VRM with four DDR5 DIMM slots up to 128 GB and OptiMem II routing, two M.2 slots — one PCIe 5.0 x4 and one PCIe 4.0 x4 — plus four SATA 6Gb/s ports, one PCIe 4.0 x16 GPU slot, and a USB4 header for optional Thunderbolt-class connectivity via an ASUS add-on card. Networking covers Realtek 2.5 GbE with ASUS LANGuard, and the rear I/O adds a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C header, BIOS FlashBack and DisplayPort + HDMI 2.1 outputs.
Compatibility Note: ATX form factor — confirm your case supports ATX. AM5 socket — only AMD Ryzen 9000 / 8000 / 7000 series desktop CPUs are supported. Note: the primary x16 slot operates at PCIe 4.0 x16 (not PCIe 5.0). The M.2_1 slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4 with Ryzen 9000 / 7000 (Ryzen 8000 runs M.2_1 at PCIe 4.0).
