ASUS PRIME H610M-A WiFi
An entry-level H610 micro-ATX board with triple display output, front USB-C, dual M.2 and onboard Wi-Fi — built for everyday 12/13/14th Gen Intel builds with legacy display support.
LGA1700 · 12/13/14th GenDDR5 up to 96GBHDMI + DP + VGAWi-Fi 5 + USB-C
The ASUS PRIME H610M-A WiFi is an entry-level micro-ATX motherboard for Intel’s LGA1700 platform, supporting 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Core processors. It pairs two DDR5 DIMM slots up to 96GB at 5600MHz with a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for the GPU and two M.2 slots (PCIe 3.0 x4 + PCIe 3.0 x2) for storage. What sets it apart at this tier is its three video outputs — HDMI 2.1 (4K@60Hz), DisplayPort 1.4 (4K@60Hz) and VGA — making it one of the few modern boards that still drives older VGA monitors out of the box. Add Wi-Fi 5 with Bluetooth 5.0, a rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) port, a front USB-C 5Gbps connector, an Intel 1Gb LAN with LANGuard, three Addressable Gen 2 RGB headers and ASUS’ 5X Protection III hardware safeguards.
Compatibility Note: LGA1700 socket only (Intel 12th/13th/14th Gen Core, Pentium Gold, Celeron). DDR5 memory only — DDR4 modules are not compatible. The H610 chipset does not support CPU overclocking, and DDR5 runs at native 5600MHz only (no XMP overclocking). HDMI/DisplayPort/VGA output requires a CPU with integrated graphics or a discrete GPU. Wi-Fi is the older Wi-Fi 5 standard (not Wi-Fi 6); LAN is 1Gb (not 2.5G). Please confirm CPU and case (micro-ATX) compatibility before purchase.

Key Features
Triple Display Output
HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and VGA outputs — drive three independent monitors from the iGPU, including older VGA displays still common in offices and POS systems.
Dual M.2 + Front USB-C
Two M.2 slots for fast NVMe storage plus a front-panel USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C connector — modern essentials usually missing from H610 boards at this price.
Wi-Fi 5 + Intel LAN
Onboard 802.11ac Wi-Fi 5 with Bluetooth 5.0 and Intel 1Gb Ethernet with ASUS LANGuard surge protection — reliable wired and wireless networking out of the box.
Aura Sync RGB Ready
Three Addressable Gen 2 RGB headers plus two AURA RGB headers — sync fans, strips, AIO pumps and other compatible hardware via Armoury Crate.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work with a 14th Gen Intel Core CPU like the i5-14400?
Yes. The H610M-A WiFi supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors on LGA1700. A BIOS update may be required for the latest CPUs — check the ASUS CPU support list before installation.
Can I drive three monitors at the same time?
Yes — using HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA simultaneously, provided the installed CPU has integrated graphics. The VGA port is especially useful for offices, schools or POS environments still running older monitors.
Is the Wi-Fi here Wi-Fi 6?
No — this board has Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) with Bluetooth 5.0. For Wi-Fi 6 you need to step up to a B760 board such as the PRIME B760M-A WIFI or B760M-F WIFI.
Can I overclock the CPU or RAM?
No CPU overclocking — the H610 chipset does not support it (you need a Z690 or Z790 board for that). Memory runs at native DDR5 speeds up to 5600MHz with XMP profiles within JEDEC range; higher overclocking is limited.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the H610M-A WiFi if you need three video outputs (especially VGA for older monitors), Wi-Fi onboard, and a front USB-C connector at H610 prices. If you do not need VGA, the cheaper H610M-K ARGB offers ARGB headers without WiFi. If you want Wi-Fi 6, 2.5G LAN, PCIe 5.0 or DDR5 overclocking, step up to a B760 board such as the PRIME B760M-F WIFI or B760M-A WIFI. For LGA1851 (Core Ultra Series 2) builds this board will not work — pick a B860 or H810 board instead.
