1200W · 80 PLUS PlatinumROG Equalizer cableMagnetic OLED display10-year warranty

The ASUS ROG Thor 1200W Platinum III White Edition (part number 90YE00V9-B0NA00, model ROG-THOR-1200P3-WHT-GAMING-E) is a 1200W ATX 3.1 power supply for white-themed enthusiast builds with RTX 5090-class graphics. It ships with the ROG Equalizer 12V-2x6 cable, which balances current across the GPU connector pins.

A magnetic OLED shows real-time power draw and can sit on either side of the unit, while GPU-First voltage sensing steadies the 12V rail at the card.

Key Features

ROG Equalizer included
The bundled 12V-2x6 cable balances current across its wires (ASUS quotes up to 17A per wire vs 9.2A standard), helping keep the GPU connector cooler.

Live OLED readout
A magnetic OLED panel shows wattage in real time and can be flipped to whichever side faces your window.

White build ready
White housing and Aura Sync ARGB lighting to match white cases, coolers and graphics cards.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does "E" (ROG Equalizer) mean in the model name?
It means the ROG Equalizer 12V-2x6 GPU cable is in the box. You do not need to buy the separate ROG Equalizer cable for this PSU.
Will a 190 mm PSU fit my case?
The Thor is 190 mm deep, longer than typical 150–160 mm units. Check the PSU clearance in your case, especially small mid-towers with a drive cage.
What is GPU-First voltage sensing?
A dedicated sense lead measures voltage at the graphics card so the PSU can compensate for cable losses; ASUS claims up to 45% better stability under load.
Singular Expert Insight
Pick the Thor III White if you want the showpiece PSU for a white build: OLED power display, Aura lighting, Equalizer cable and 10 years of cover. If you only need clean 1200W, the TUF Gaming 1200W Gold EVO does the job for less. Browse 850W+ power supplies.
✓ Buy it if You are building a white RTX 5090-class system and want visible power monitoring.
✕ Skip it if Your case cannot take a 190 mm deep PSU.
→ Also consider ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Platinum White Edition (90YE00W9-B0NA00) — shorter 160 mm, also with the Equalizer cable.
