The ASUS TUF Gaming 1000W Platinum (TUF-GAMING-1000P) is a 1000W ATX 3.1 power supply with 80 PLUS Platinum and Cybenetics Platinum efficiency and a native 12V-2x6 (16-pin) cable, built for gaming and workstation PCs with current high-power graphics cards.
A single +12V rail delivers up to 83.3A (1000W). The unit carries a Cybenetics Lambda A+ noise rating, the full OPP/OVP/UVP/SCP/OCP/OTP protection set, MTBF over 120,000 hours at 40°C and an 8-year ASUS warranty. At 150 mm deep it fits most ATX cases, including compact mid towers.
Before you order: Do not confuse it with the TUF Gaming 1000W Gold: this is the Platinum model (TUF-GAMING-1000P), with a different efficiency rating and warranty term. Check the name before ordering.

- One native 12V-2x6 cable powers an RTX 50- or 40-series card directly, with no adapter.
- 1000W leaves headroom for a high-end GPU plus a top CPU, so the PSU does not run near its limit.
- Platinum efficiency means less heat and lower power draw at the wall than a Gold unit under the same load.
- Six SATA and three peripheral connectors cover drives, fan hubs and RGB controllers.
What Will Not Work
- It has no 0dB (fan-stop) mode: the fan always spins, though the unit is rated Cybenetics A+ for noise.
- It is not an SFX unit and will not fit SFX/SFX-L small-form-factor cases.
- It supports only one 12V-2x6 GPU directly; dual 16-pin GPU setups need a different PSU.
- No ARGB lighting or Aura Sync.
