ASUS PRIME H610M-K ARGB
An entry-level micro-ATX H610 board with DDR5, full LGA1700 support and addressable RGB — the cleanest way to build a modern Intel system without paying for features you will not use.
LGA1700 · 12/13/14th GenDDR5 up to 96GBPCIe 4.0 + M.2Aura Sync ARGB
The PRIME H610M-K ARGB is ASUS’ entry-level micro-ATX board for the Intel H610 platform. It accepts 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Core processors on the LGA1700 socket, supports up to 96GB of DDR5-5600 memory across 2 DIMM slots, and adds two Addressable Gen 2 RGB headers with Aura Sync — features usually reserved for higher tiers. With PCIe 4.0 x16 for the GPU, an M.2 slot, four SATA ports, HDMI 2.1 with 4K@60Hz output and a Realtek 1Gb LAN, it covers the essentials for office, home and budget gaming builds with a CPU that has integrated graphics.
Compatibility Note: LGA1700 socket only (Intel 12th/13th/14th Gen Core, Pentium Gold, Celeron). The H610 chipset does not support CPU overclocking or memory overclocking via XMP profiles above JEDEC speeds on all CPUs. HDMI/VGA video output requires a CPU with integrated graphics or a discrete GPU. Please confirm CPU and case compatibility (micro-ATX) before purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work with a 14th Gen Intel Core CPU like the i5-14400?
Yes. The PRIME H610M-K ARGB officially supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors on the LGA1700 socket. A BIOS update may be required for the latest CPUs — check the ASUS CPU support list for your exact model.
Does it support DDR4 memory?
No — this board is DDR5 only (5600/5400/5200/5000/4800), up to 96GB across 2 DIMM slots. For DDR4, ASUS offers the PRIME H610M-K D4 ARGB instead.
Can I overclock the CPU or RAM?
No CPU overclocking — the H610 chipset does not support it (you need a Z-series board for that). XMP memory profiles up to JEDEC speeds run normally; higher overclocking profiles are limited.
How many M.2 SSD slots does it have?
One M.2 slot (Key M), supporting 2242/2260/2280 form factors in PCIe 3.0 x4 mode. Pair with the 4 SATA 6Gb/s ports for additional drives.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose this board if you want a clean, modern micro-ATX H610 platform with DDR5 and addressable RGB headers at the lowest possible cost. If you plan to overclock, run multiple M.2 SSDs or need Wi-Fi onboard, step up to a B760 or Z790 board instead. If you already own DDR4 memory, the PRIME H610M-K D4 ARGB is the matching DDR4 variant.
