ASUS ROG Harpe II Ace — Wireless Gaming Mouse, Lava Red
AimPoint Pro 42,000 DPI, 750 IPSNative 8000 Hz, no booster neededTri-mode: 2.4 GHz / Bluetooth / wired48 g, symmetrical
The ASUS ROG Harpe II Ace is a 48 g right-handed symmetrical wireless gaming mouse in lava red, built around the ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor (100 to 42,000 DPI, 750 IPS, 50 G, tracks on glass) and ROG 100M optical micro switches. It is tri-mode — ROG SpeedNova 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C wired — and runs at 8000 Hz wired and over 2.4 GHz natively — ASUS states no polling-rate booster is required. ASUS publishes up to 101 hours on 2.4 GHz at 1000 Hz with lighting off (84 hours with default lighting). Part number 90MP0490-BMUA20, EAN 4711636236430. It is ASUS’s lightest mainstream esports shape and the only Harpe that needs no booster for 8K. Tell us your grip and hand size and we will confirm this is the right ROG shape for you.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Symmetrical body but the two side buttons are on the left, so it is made for right-handed use. 8000 Hz works on the included SpeedNova receiver with no extra booster. Settings are made in the Gear Link web app while connected by 2.4 GHz or cable — not over Bluetooth; Armoury Crate handles only Aura Sync lighting. Lava Red is the third colour of the same mouse; specs are identical to black and white. The 2 m ROG Paracord cable, the receiver, a receiver extender, 100% PTFE feet and four pieces of grip tape are in the box. Bluetooth mode works on laptops and tablets but ASUS publishes no Bluetooth polling rate and no battery figure at 8000 Hz — the hours below are at 1000 Hz. Consumables (feet, grip tape, booster) are excluded from ASUS warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Harpe II Ace need the ROG Polling Rate Booster for 8000 Hz?
No. ASUS states 8000 Hz on USB and 2.4 GHz with no booster required — unlike the Keris II Ace and Harpe Ace Extreme, which use one.
Is it ambidextrous?
The shape is symmetrical, but the side buttons are on the left only, so ASUS lists it as right-handed symmetrical.
What is the difference between the Harpe II Ace and the Harpe Ace Extreme?
II Ace: 48 g plastic shell, native 8K, 101 h battery, three colours. Extreme: 47 g carbon-fibre composite, 8K via the bundled booster, 70 h battery, glass feet, hard case, black only.
Can I set it up over Bluetooth?
Bluetooth works for use, but ASUS says settings are only changed in Gear Link while on 2.4 GHz or cable.
Singular Expert Insight
The Harpe II Ace is the ROG mouse we would point most competitive players at: 48 g, native 8000 Hz without a booster and a battery figure over 100 hours. The Extreme costs more for carbon fibre and a case, not for speed. See how it compares with the other wireless mice we stock, and ask us to confirm the shape against your grip before you order.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a 48 g symmetrical esports mouse with native 8000 Hz wireless, 100-plus hours of battery and no extra dongle.
Skip it if
