ASUS ROG SLASH Backpack Edition 20 (BP3802) — roll-top backpack for laptops up to 18"
Up to 18" laptopsRoll-topFIDLOCK buckle1.4 kg
The ASUS ROG SLASH Backpack Edition 20 (BP3802) is a roll-top laptop backpack with a fleece-lined compartment for notebooks up to 18 inches, made for gamers and creators who carry a large ROG, TUF or Zephyrus laptop every day.
It belongs to the 20th-anniversary ROG SLASH collection: black body with translucent gold details, a FIDLOCK magnetic buckle on the roll top, YKK zips, a sternum strap and a breathable back panel. ASUS describes the shell as tear-resistant and water-repellent, which covers rain on the way to the office or a LAN event, not submersion.
Before you order: The laptop compartment measures 39.9 x 29.8 x 3.2 cm. Most 18" gaming laptops fit, but very thick machines (over about 3 cm) or laptops inside an extra sleeve may not. Send us the laptop model and we will check the dimensions for you.
What's in the Box
- ROG SLASH Backpack Edition 20 (BP3802)
- Dust bag for storage
- Warranty booklet
What It Means in Practice
- One bag for an 18" gaming laptop plus charger, mouse, headset and cables, without a second shoulder bag.
- The roll top expands for a jacket or controller and closes with one hand thanks to the magnetic FIDLOCK buckle.
- A side zip lets you reach the laptop compartment without opening the roll top.
- At 1.4 kg empty it is a full-size travel backpack, not an ultralight commuter bag.
What Will Not Work
- It is not waterproof: ASUS states water-repellent material with no IP rating, so do not rely on it in heavy, prolonged rain.
- Laptops thicker than the 3.2 cm compartment, or 18" models with a bulky external power brick in the same sleeve, will not fit together.
- It has no built-in USB charging port or power bank.
- It is not hard-shell protection; for checked baggage use a rigid case.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
This is a good fit for anyone carrying a large gaming laptop every day who wants one bag for laptop, charger and peripherals. The roll top gives extra space when needed, and the magnetic buckle is quick to use. If your laptop uses a large external brick, consider a slimmer USB-C option from our laptop power supplies range to save weight.
✓ Buy it if you carry a 16–18" gaming or creator laptop and want a single, expandable backpack.
✕ Skip it if you need a waterproof or hard-shell case, or a light bag for a 13–14" ultrabook.
→ Also consider a compact USB-C charger for travel, so the power brick does not take half the bag.
Not sure your laptop fits? Send us the model and we will check the dimensions before you order.
